What does entertainment freedom for all mean to you?
In order to really understand how consumers felt about the campaign we decided to test it. We set out to interview moms, kids, teenagers, working professionals, sports fans, dads and more – what we got back was priceless. We found entertainment freedom was different for everyone. What do consumers want? It’s about personalization, convenience, connectivity, movies, music and headphones without wires. The video became our anthem for VIZIO – Entertainment Freedom For All. It sparked the Freedom fighter campaign which was used across advertising, packaging and online showing a variety of celebrities from Paul Pierce, Green Day and Optimus Prime from Transformers to show off what entertainment meant to each of them. Connecting with a wide audience and finding the brand voice for the masses. Go figure, we listened to what the consumers wanted, and they responded. VIZIO became the #1 LCD HDTV Company of 2010.
